I was at Rétromobile, a classic car show in Paris, last week. They hold auctions of cars and bikes for those seriously wealthy.
However they also had a display of classica for the (relatively) poors.
Cars less than €25,000. So, let’s see what one could have bought.
A Citroen DS with the more popular BVH semi automatic? Here we go. It was for restoration ( a restored one could be four times that) but on a superficial inspection it looked reasonable enough.
A Fiat 130 coupé with one of those fancy automatic gearboxes (and a badge to prove it?)
